Tahir Basheer - Sheridans
Tahir offers a practical legal service in respect of the most appropriate means to achieve success in the music and entertainment industry. His expertise primarily relates to music, but also includes e-commerce, computer games, sport, fashion, merchandising, trade marks and intellectual property. He is increasingly advising on the convergence of the different areas of the entertainment industry and the cutting edge online ventures around that.
Tahir is a Partner in the Digital Media and Entertainment Software group at leading entertainment law firm Sheridans. He advises on a broad range of digital music issues generally from developing the initial business structure to advising on relevant music issues, payments and licences for clients both from the content provider perspective and the digital distributor perspective.
He has presented a number of seminars and written a number of articles on entertainment and music related issues and is a guest lecturer at Kings College London University for creative business entrepreneur students.
