Björn Thoroddsen Plays Tokyo!

Jazz aficionado Björn Thoroddsen is to join Kazumi Watanabe in celebrating his 40 years of working as a jazz artist. The pair will hosting an Anniversary Concert in Tokyo, with Björn Thoroddsen opening a segment of the concert at the Shinjuku Pit Inn, a legendary jazz venue in the Japanese capital.

Thoroddsen will also take the stage with Kazumi and his band, consisting of bassist Nobuyoshi Ino and drummer Hideo Yamaki, both of which are among the leading jazz musicians currently working in Japan. Thoroddsen will then also perform with Kazumi at another concert during his stay in Tokyo.

The Shinjuku Pit Inn concert takes place on April 2nd 2010.
