Aldous Harding, Stefflon Don, Milkywhale + many more added to Iceland Airwaves, joining Àsgeir, Fleet Foxes + Billy Bragg on the line-up

It’s only spring, but we’ve got November on our minds! It’s time to feast on another bonanza of music additions to the Iceland Airwaves Festival.
Following on from adding two Fleet Foxes shows, Iceland Airwaves have announced their latest additions for the November 2017 festival. These include Aldous Harding, Stefflon Don and a whole host of Icelandic acts lead by Milkywhale, Pink Street Boys and Between Mountains, winners of the latest round of local bands competition Músíktílraunir.
These up-and-coming names join the likes of Àsgeir, Billy Bragg, Emiliana Torrini & The Colorist, JFDR, Kelly Lee Owens and Mammút for at the feted Reykjavík festival, which now expands to a second site in Akureyri, North Iceland for the first time ever.
Renowned for showcasing the best of Icelandic talent alongside the biggest and most interesting new international names in music, Iceland Airwaves welcomes the following to Reykjavík and Akureyri from the 1st – 5th November 2017:
