Last November, during the week of Iceland Airwaves, Amor Vincit Omnia invited the crew from The Line of Best Fit for a studio visit. There, they performed a rendition of "Ber," a standout track from the duo’s newly released EP, Extended babe.

Amor Vincit Omnia is a collaboration between producer Baldur Skúlason and singer Erla Hlín Guðmundsdóttir. Their name, Latin for "love conquers all", reflects a characteristically humorous take on serious subjects; to them, the phrase is simultaneously beautiful and slightly absurd. This duality defines their music: playful, eccentric, and imbued with a distinctively Icelandic sense of nonchalance.

Following the release of their EP, Amor are set to embark on a run of international showcase festivals starting in the US later this month. The journey begins at The New Colossus in New York, followed by three performances at SXSW in Austin, Texas—including a showcase curated by The Line of Best Fit.
